Conference Update: re:create Tuesday in 140 Characters or Less

Day 2 of re:create 2011 was a hit! Yesterday, we shared meals and memories, partook of the Eucharist, and worshiped together, all as one community.

Twitter has been very active with responses to the conference, so I thought it’d be fun to do a review of a day at re:create from the perspectives of the attendees, all in 140 characters or less. Here is what some are saying about the experience:

@LindseyNobles Wow.”God had given me a will stronger than my emotions. We can choose to do something we don’t feel like doing.” @patsyclairmont #recreate11
@AmandaSims Andrew Klavan’s comments are helping me accept the freedom to express myself more authentically through the written word. #recreate11

@Drake_jim “we are all changing our lives in order to change others” @Spencesmith. #recreate11

@gritandglory I’ll never find words for the beauty and holiness of Communion at #recreate11.

@patamo My fave pix of #recreate11. History dictates they be enemies. Yet in Jesus, this Turk & Armenian are brothers: http://twitpic.com/3xwjkf

@treychandler Still buzzing about the myriad of experiences I’ve had so far at #recreate11. I’m overwhelmed in the best way.

@chadjarnagin Im spent from a brilliant day at #recreate11. Everyone needs their own recreate. A space to be encouraged, refreshed, & inspired.

@chrisfromcanada Over the past 5 years I have learned to enter each @recreate day with no expectations. Even so, #recreate11 blew my mind today.

@bethanygaddis The song we were all waiting for tonight at #recreate11 http://post.ly/1ayU5

And here’s a photo Spence took of Ed Kowalczyk (formerly of the band LIVE) and his band performing last night:
