I have been asked to paint the iconic song El Shaddai for Amy Grant’s “Pieces of Our Lives” Fall Tour (An Intimate Evening of Art & Music). Needless to say, it was an intimidating task. As I scheduled time to think about the commission, the phrase “age to age, you’re still the same” kept coming to the forefront of my thoughts. Here is what happened on watercolor paper with that phrase in mind and as I listened to the song over and over again.
