Seven Powerful Questions For A Better Life

Researchers say we have over 50,000 thoughts per day, and over half of them are negative. If we instead make the time and effort to focus our questions in a positive direction, we give ourselves the opportunity for a better life.

Here are seven compelling questions that have greatly enhanced my daily life. The most effective way to answer these queries is with a loved one you trust implicitly.

These simple but profound inquiries can take you from feeling like a relative stranger to yourself, to knowing yourself better than your closest friend. The ability to understand our selves and our motivations and learn more about our essentials helps take the focus away from the distractions of our modern, fast-paced life, and instead direct our being toward meaning and purpose.

  1. What makes me smile?

Action: Make a list of 20 things that make you smile.

2.  What always brings tears to your eyes?

3.   What are the two moments you’ll never forget in your life?

Action: Describe them in great detail. What makes those moments so unforgettable?

4.    What is one thing you wish others knew about you?

Action: Make a list. What books? Websites? Quotes? People? Paintings? Stores? Stars? Other?      

7.    When do you feel happiest in your skin?
