You Tube TV Review

I have to say I’ve not been this excited about new technology in a long time. It reminds me of the feeling I had the first time I listened to a DVD.

My Facebook friend Leo Gallant responded to my lamenting that only CBS had an AppleTV app. He told me about YouTube TV. I am currently on day 3 of their seven day trial and I could not be more impressed.

For only $35 per month and NO contract (take that DirecTV) it includes over 40 channels including the ESPN suite and local networks. It also offers a slick and very user friendly DVR service at no extra charge.

Also included are select movies and archived shows.

I utilize a 2nd generation AppleTV and the Airplay Mirroring feature on my iPad to make it work. You can also use Chromecast.

The iPad functions like a very sexy remote. The first time I used it, I exclaimed, “Oh my, this is what I always dreamed TV would look like. It is simply amazing.”

Living on a rural farm 50 miles from Nashville with no broadcast TV or cable options, I refused to pay $99 per month while locked in a contract for DirecTV to get basically the same service that You TubeTV offers. But thankfully, the YouTube TV Nashville service is available way out here in the sticks. Yes! Also, YouTube TV just increased its number of markets from 49 to 83.

DirecTV Go and Dish TV offer similar services, however the realization that YouTube has the power and breadth of the Google servers clinched the deal for me. To me, they have the ability to provide quality streaming on a consistent level.

How did I not know about this???? That’s what Facebook friends are for!

And so far…Wow! Just wow!! The quality is amazing even though DSL is our only Internet option in our area. 5 stars and two thumbs way up!

You can start a seven day free trail HERE. Give it a try! P.S. I am receiving no affiliate or any kind of remuneration. Just excited!
