    1. playing outside from sunup to well after dark. Eating the neighbor’s oranges and radishes (with permission) and chewing saw grass for lunch. Being a kid in Fla. was great.
    2. What has really grabbed me lately is Lichtung by David Schnell. Found an online image here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/daryljames/3815961687/in/set-72157621900761055/ but it does not do justice to it. It’s at the NC Museum of Art right now (along with a big Rembrandt exhibition!)

Mike, Thanks so much! I’m so intrigued with Costa Rica. Have you been there a lot?

      1. mikeraburn Avatar

Only once, but I fell in love. My wife is from the Smoky Mountains (near Pigeon Forge) and I’m from central Fla. (know where Plant City is?) and we both love being near a major city. Costa Rica is like Florida beaches, Tennessee mountains, and a decent metropolis all rolled into one space. Probably the safest central American country. Wonderful people, food, and coffee. You should definitely check it out.

I saw your questions earlier but had to think on a few.

    4. Where would you live if you could live anywhere in the world?

    – Europe where I would move every few years to another city in another country….sigh. Sounds delighful.

    5. When and where are you happiest?

    – I would say around 9 year old and any time I was at my grandparents house. Before reality began it’s intrusion into my world.

    6. Who are your fantasy dinner party guests?

    – Madeline L’Engle, Henri Nouwen, CS Lewis, Corrie Ten Boom, (I could go on and on!) and several friends I have connected with via the internet who I have not met face to face.

    7. Who is your favorite fictional character?
