31 people have now given to help “Build The First Kalien Retreat Cabin.” That is not many people considering the thousands of people I have personally mentored and ministered to over the past 40 years and when you consider my 5,000 Facebook “friends” and 40,700 Twitter followers and thousands more on LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest.
But it only takes a spark…The power of a few people who believe.
Over the past 30 days since our Generosity.com campaign began those 31 people who believe in the dream called Kalien—a dream to create a place of solitude and beauty to encourage the wounded and weary have given $36,550. Thirty-six thousand five hundred and fifty dollars.
Wow!
Two different families completely funded a cabin in honor of their family names. The Roberts family and the Keefer family. There will be a beautiful leather welcome journal in the respective cabin that will feature photos and biographies in honor of those families and why they have made a difference in the world and why they believe in this dream called Kalien. An undying legacy.

My heart is filled to overflowing and many tears of joy have fallen the past two days. I’m so grateful for a few people who join me in this dream of providing a place of solitude and beauty to encourage others. They are heroes in my book. Heroes who are building a legacy.
