  2. Why is the most intense coloring on her thigh? Given the title, I'd expect it to be nearer her womb or heart. Not saying it should be near her womb or heart, but wondering why you painted it the way you did.

  4. As you know I am not big on nudes! HOWEVER this is wonderful! I can't explain why. Your choices of color and degree of abstraction are perfect. I am curious as to why you use the word barren? I see confident, free, alive maybe even grateful! What made you choose barren?

    • Hmmm. First, thanks, Ken. I see someone who has even thrown off the sackcloth and is praying and pleading…However, I love it that almost everyone has seen a different side of her than I intended. That is the extraordinary beauty of art.
