Please leave a comment and tell me which rendition of Katniss is your favorite and why. I have not yet watched the movie, because I did not want it to influence my idea of Katniss. I wanted to paint her character from reading the book.
It’s very unusual, but for some reason, I ended up painting two different personalities. Number One is during the Hunger Games and number two is just after Cinna prepares her to meet the public. I am currently 1/3 of the way through “Catching Fire.”

Thanks so much, Chuck. You are such an encourager!
I think I like #1 best; her gaze seems to be boring into my heart. Not sure I like that!!!
Blessings, Friend.
Ha!!! That is quite a compliment. Thanks, Fletch!!
Hmmm, thanks, Jack. Actually, very helpful!!
kind of leaning toward #2, though I like the colors in #1 better. I know that’s very helpful…
I am going to disagree and go #2.
For some reason I think it just captures her character more.
The red as the girl “on fire”
Yes, like the “girl on fire…” Thanks, Steven!
The close up of her face
Thanks, Stevie, I’m thinking you mean #1.
